History of Orange Theory Fitness

Orange Theory Fitness began in 2010 as the brain-child of TV fitness icon Ellen Latham, physical therapist and former management employee of GNC David Long, founder of the Ultimate Fitness Group Jerome Kern and David Hardy, the President of the Fitness Industry Council of Canada. It has since become one of the fastest growing businesses in the world, with fitness centers spread across 45 states and seven different countries, including the UK and Canada. In the US alone there are over 400 locations.

Equipment and Facilities Available

Orange Theory Fitness facilities are easily identifiable with their use of the color orange. Facilities are also not as large as most fitness centers as the core philosophy is to encourage a strong bond between the trainers and the members. Each facility has several equipment that promotes High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) such as treadmills, suspension units, rowing machines, free weights and work out benches. All of the training sessions focus on these tools, ensuring each session is engaging and active.

There are three different membership plans for customers to sign up for and each of them come with a several benefits such as discounts for additional sessions and for referrals. Customers that aren’t sure or are visiting for the first time can experience a session without paying any Orange Theory Fitness prices to let them decide if this is the training method and facility that they feel comfortable with. Along with scheduled training sessions members do get unlimited access to the training facility’s equipment.

Orange Theory Fitness prices are quite affordable given how effective and how interactive each session per month is and there is the added bonus that the facilities focus strongly on HIIT exercising, a method that even the military relies on to keep soldiers in shape.
