History of the Powerhouse Gym

The Powerhouse Gym began in 1975 and was founded by the brothers Norman and William Dabish. The first gym opened in Highland Park, Michigan and over the years the Powehouse Gym has had many professional boxers and fighters come in for training such as Tom Platz and Tommy “Hitman” Hearnz. In 1984 the gym launched a licensing division. As of today there are over 300 licenses, locations in 39 states and 15 different countries around the world.
